  • Four female dancers—flamencas, the pillars of the company—meet on stage and invite the audience to witness the birth of a dance. They create their dances in a bricolage-like technique, using whatever is at hand—body, movement, texts, thoughts, childhood images, private and shared archives, sounds, songs, and playful acts.

    All of these serve as materials that they pour into the forms of traditional flamenco, creating a collision of tastes and worlds. The passion, drama, sanctity, purity, and total devotion to precision—of an art so demanding as to verge on fanaticism— blend in an instant with the random, playfulness, irony, chaos, the permission to doubt, the right to be off-key. freedom.
