GagaRoom TLV is an in-person and personalized setting for the dynamic exploration of Gaga. In this 5-day workshop at Gaga’s bustling center of activity, we invite you to expand your research in a supportive setting, surpass your familiar physical limits, and embark upon a journey of discovery that will extend beyond the studio.
Join us at the scenic Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv, where daily GagaRoom sessions and access to ongoing Gaga classes will foster a challenging, stimulating, and meaningful physical process. Mixing sensation-filled dancing, engaging discussions, and enrichment activities with an intimate community of curious Gaga users from around the world, GagaRoom TLV provides the space and time for you to develop your own dialogue with the Gaga language. Together we will find more clarity in our understanding of Gaga, strengthen connections between Gaga and our personal and professional lives, and share in the pleasure of movement.
Through movement & conversation, we will examine:
Gaga terms and the fundamentals of our research
Breaking the patterns of our movement and finding new ones
How Gaga can improve our physical abilities, including our strength, agility, and speed
Range of movement and the idea of expanding our limits on a daily basis
How to arrive to your own discoveries, and integrating these in your work and daily life
Lightness as a virtue, and its connection to our passion to move
What will happen during GagaRoom TLV? A small set of committed Gaga users will meet in the studio daily for 5 days, alongside a team of experienced Gaga teachers. Each ~3-hour meeting will include Gaga/people classes and other content including metodika, conversations, further physical research & exercises, and more. In addition to these meetings, participants will enjoy a performance of Ohad Naharin’s iconic Anafaza with Batsheva Dance Company & Batsheva Ensemble at the Tel Aviv Port.
During GagaRoom TLV, participants will also receive access to morning and evening Gaga classes at the Suzanne Dellal Centre. Participants are encouraged to take classes with Gaga’s diverse faculty during their stay in order to receive additional perspective on the movement language and amplify their own process.
Who is GagaRoom TLV for? GagaRoom TLV is for anyone who has taken Gaga classes online and/or in person and who wishes to further immerse themself in the language through an active process of physical research and generous dialogue.
Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years old and have prior experience in Gaga.
GagaRoom Dates: Sunday, June 18 – Thursday, June 22, 2023
GagaRoom sessions will take place mid-day each day, from approximately 10:30-13:30, and open Gaga classes at Suzanne Dellal take place in the mornings and evenings. View a sample schedule.

Course Fee: 2950 ILS – until the course is full
The fee includes all GagaRoom TLV sessions and enrichment activities including a ticket to Anafaza, as well as entry to 6 regular Gaga classes at Suzanne Dellal during the week of the program. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, housing, and meals.
